About Rusty

Russell ("Rusty") Trenary grew up in Dallas, Texas, where he graduated from St.  Mark's School of Texas in 1966. He then attended Vanderbilt University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1970. He worked as an engineer for several years and then completed a Master's in Business Administration from Pepperdine University in 1977. After receiving this MBA, Rusty shifted his career to focus more on real estate and development. Rusty obtained his Texas Real Estate Saleperson's License in 1973 and his Texas Real Estate Broker's License in 1980. Trenary and Associates, Inc (doing business as Russell Trenary, Realtors) was formed in 1988 with the purpose of providing consulting and real estate services for development, sales and leasing, property management, and owner construction representation for residential and commercial properties. He has enjoyed the process of running this small family  business, which has included his daughter (Jenny Trenary Gamble) and his mother (Ann Trenary, who has since passed away).  

Mr. Trenary has served as a DCAD Appraisal Review Board member, Advisory Board Member to the Trinity River Authority's Denton Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant, consultant to Lake Turner Municipal Utility District #1, and Chairman of Construction and Operations Committee of Farmer's Branch Chamber of  Commerce.

Rusty is the principal of Trenary and Associates, Inc, our commercial division.
